The list of buses
What decides the order, most important first:
- The order you choose. Sort by price, journey time or seats left and every bus is in exactly that order. No payment changes it, and nothing is marked Sponsored.
- Sponsored places. In the usual order, up to 3 buses whose company paid JD Bus are shown first, each marked Sponsored with the company's name. When more companies have paid, they take turns.
- Every other bus, by the time you get on, soonest first. Nobody can pay to move a bus within this part of the list.
Filters apply to every bus alike.
Sponsored buses

A sponsored bus always makes your journey on the day you chose and has seats you can book online. It shows the same fare and seats it would anywhere else in the list. It is not a JD Bus recommendation.
It can be the only bus on your search: it is still marked Sponsored, because its company paid.
On the home page, up to two companies at a time show their next bus with seats online this week. When more have paid, they take turns.
For bus companies
Any bus company selling on JD Bus can pay to have its bus shown at the top of the search, for one route or for all its routes, at the price the JD Bus office sets, on the same terms as every other company. There is no limit on how many companies can pay.
A company pays only for trips of its bus we actually showed at the top, and never more than the most it agreed.
Offers are not ads
An offer takes money off your fare. Offers are from JD Bus.
On the home page, an offer on a route you searched on this phone comes first. After that, the offer you can use on the most buses this week. Nobody can pay us to move an offer up.
